Position Summary :
Assist in the delivery of the Operations strategy for ValueOptimization by delivering Key NPD, Design to Value (DtV) and OGSTM initiativesand projects
Responsible for collaborative cross-functional cost savingsopportunities based on Design to Value initiatives including developing apipe-line of opportunities
Accountable for key complex supply launches for new to worldNPD’s and Product Innovations
Work Collaboratively with a cross-functional team to ensurethat key projects are successfully delivered on time and on budget
Liaise with Marketing to ensure project time-lines are metallowing our component vendors the required lead time to produce and delivercomponents to our wineries
Verify that prior to Procurement or Purchase Orders of anynew components or materials, testing requirements have been fully met(including CTT testing & component qualifications).
Represent an operational perspective and identify solutionsto potential issues and ensure the best supply options are implemented withinour Operations or 3rd Party Manufacturers
Key Accountabilities :
Reporting directly to VP Procurement
Support the VP Procurement to meet / exceed annual operationstask
Collaborate with Marketing, Finance, Quality, R&D,Manufacturing and Winemaking for best in class project delivery
Verify that DtV projects meet testing and product regulatoryrequirements.
Influence key stakeholders to drive out non-value-added costand waste.
Develop and deliver cost savings pipe-line and deliver 3-4key initiatives per fiscal
Establishes and monitors KPI’s associated with projectdelivery on time and on budget
Develops goals and objectives for the Project ManagementOffice aligned with National Operations objectives
Effectively leads and continuously improves the ProjectManagement processes
Interfaces closely with Manufacturing, Winemaking,R&D, Procurement, Marketing, andFinance to looks for ways to improve overall consumer experience throughtechnology, work flows, team development, and communications.
Ensure collaborative personal development plans areestablished
Lead by example in all dealings with internal, external andCorporate parties
Ability to read, interpret and explain financial statementsand demonstrate ability to impact P&L results within role. Understandingand effective management of working capital and capital expenditures.
Develop and Achieve projects on budget and on plan
Collaborate and achieve Brand P&L to ensure Gate 3financial approval
5 - 10 years’ project management experience
Post-Secondary Education in Related Discipline (Business,Engineering preferred, Post Graduate a strong asset)
Relevant professional designation (ie. PMP / PMI) a strongasset
Experience in a manufacturing environment required continuous, batch and seasonal production, food and beverage an advantage
Strong track record of Process Re-Design
Strong track record of driving and managing changeeffectively within one’s functional area as well as across the company
Excellent computer skills in Microsoft Office (Excel,Access, Word, Project)
Experience with ERP Systems (JDE Preferred)
Experience with ISO, ACCP environments
Continuous improvement training lean manufacturingequivalent preferred Black Belt level
Demonstrated record of leading teams to achieve excellentresults and continuously improve performance
