CBDC BlueWater is a not-for-profit organization that fosters community based economic development by providing business support and loans to small and medium business enterprises.
All investment decisions are made by local business people who understand the needs of their communities.
On behalf of CBDC BlueWater, we are seeking a creative and passionate Executive Director to work with the Board of Directors, and provide leadership to the organization and staff.
Reporting to the Board of Directors, the ED has overall strategic and operational responsibility for the organization. The ED will cultivate close relationships with the business community to support the development and attract of new businesses, while working to retain and expand existing clients.
Key responsibilities include, revenue generation, portfolio management, partnership development and administration, and allowing for the optimal use of organizational finances, staff and resources.
This ED will also provide financial leadership by managing budgets and monitoring long-term strategic fiscal plans. The ED will be thoroughly committed to the organization’s mission, while possessing passion, integrity, and a positive attitude.
An organizational champion, you will actively engage and energize staff, board members and community partners.
The ED will be a self-starter who can prioritize and deliver desired outcomes in a timely manner. He / she will have the ability to create and lead a vibrant team environment with staff, Board of Directors and other stakeholders to achieve organizational objectives.
This role requires an individual who is energetic and versatile.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in finance, coupled with proven leadership, business connections, and ability to coach and mentor a team.
The successful candidate will have excellent interpersonal and client services competencies. This is an opportunity to drive change and put your mark on helping small to medium business succeed within their communities.
