The Strategy team is accountable for ensuring their customers fully experience The CompuVision Customer Journey . Leveraging our standard technologies and process, coupled with our people and corporate structure, we deliver a unique end result for our customers.

Your clients will experience increased employee productivity, predictability in capital and operating expenditures, reduced downtime and risk, improved employee morale, reduced lost revenue and enhanced business agility.

The Strategic Advisor is positioned to engage with the executive level of our clients, meet with their decision makers to craft technology investment plans and progress the Customer Journey with CompuVision.

Strategic Advisors bring forward findings from our Compliance Auditing team, opportunities from our Design and Service teams, and help identify where technology can solve business problems or take advantage of new opportunities.

The Strategic Advisor is paired with a Delivery Manager, who focuses on the reactive scope of the customer experience to allow the Strategic Advisor to focus on long-term planning.

Our higher-level consultative approach is key in keeping CompuVision as a market leader.

Our Strategic Advisors are expected to identify opportunities for CompuVision to improve upon existing services or add new high value services.

We are a data driven company, we search for and analyze trends in the global marketplace and across our client base. The Strategic Advisor combines this analysis with an in-depth business understanding to progressively improve alignment of our offerings with the customer’s needs.

Responsibilities :

  • You must be aware of and maintain our standards, understanding that it is a living guide. Always updating and always changing based on the influence from our team
  • Train and educate CompuVision clients on why our people, process and technology standards exist and how it benefits their business.
  • You are expected to continually reframe customers on what our end result is, and what benefit it provides them.

  • Client relationship management, client IT leadership and client ownership in delivering the results the client needs for the success of their company.
  • Maintain relationships with the strategic decision makers for each client on your account.
  • Seek an understanding of the client’s business goals, needs, challenges and interests to align our services and technical recommendations with their business priorities.
  • Lead the annual technology investment planning process for each client. Gather feedback, request auditing, consult with internal stakeholders, and craft the outcome of that review into the client facing annual planning meeting and annual Roadmap deliverable.
  • Drive recurring Business Review meetings with each customer. Work with the customer to progress and / or update the annual Roadmap
  • Understand clients’ planning and budgeting cycles. Maintain an IT budget with the customer and ensure technology investment is appropriate to progress the Customer Journey .
  • Provide timely responses and guidance to clients between business review meetings. Direct them to reactive support or capture any new needs for the next business review discussion.
  • Draft, submit and deliver project proposals. Collaborate with the design and architecture team to provide appropriate technology solutions to customer issues / opportunities.
  • Maintain separation of proactive and reactive client activities between the Strategic Advisor (SA) and Delivery Manager (DM) roles.
  • Support the maintenance of accurate and effective client data in the tools and platforms CompuVision adopts.
  • Maintain accurate and real time up to date timesheets.
  • Attend training & team meetings as required.
  • Support relationships between CompuVision and our 3rd party providers, as well as relationships between our clients and their 3rd party providers.
  • The role may require flexibility due to travel, customer availability or special events.
  • Education Requirements, Skills, and Knowledge

  • Business Analysis : A SA must be able to identify and assess a client’s business goals, needs and perceptions. By performing analysis on that information and working with various teams within CompuVision, this information is transformed in to winning solutions for the client.
  • Data Analysis : The SA must have the necessary experience and knowledge in order to assess the internal performance metrics of their client base.
  • These metrics will include analysis of Key Performance Indicators that define client use, like costs, risks and profit. The ability to assess a client’s use of CompuVision services is also key in identifying long running issues or trends.

  • Relationship Building : Must demonstrate the ability to build and manage relationships with clients (internal and external) through consistent and proactive communications.
  • This is most effective by acting responsive and being reliable to client needs.

  • Collaboration : The SA will need to network throughout the organization to pull in the appropriate resources to address the customer’s needs throughout their lifecycle.
  • Consultative Selling : The SA must demonstrate the ability to successfully sell and validate revenue opportunities with an IT solutions approach to selling.
  • Through defining IT requirements, the SA will show value by recommending additional CompuVision IT products and services.

  • Strong organizational, time management, presentation, and customer service skills.
  • 3+ years working in an IT Industry company or technical experience.
  • 2+ years account or client relationship management experience.
  • Degrees, certifications or other designations in relevant technology or business education is an asset. For example : ITIL, Microsoft MCP, business management degree with an IT focus, ITCP, or similar.
