Working Hours :

Client is looking for an experienced Organizational Change Management professional to fulfill the role of Change Management Analyst on projects as assigned.

This position is for a one year term. The resource is required as soon as possible and will be required to work on site at Client's Head Office in Regina.

The Project Delivery Office (PDO) is a project management office that resides within the Client's Information Systems department and is responsible for the delivery of all IT related projects.

Our project management and execution approach combines the best practices of the PMBoK and RUP methodologies. Currently there are over 20 projects underway including implementation of COTS software, in-

house development, and leveraging existing systems through configuration and technology related initiatives. The PDO is made up of approximately 20 multi-

vendor contract resources that provide expertise in the business analyst and project management practices.

Client has adopted the ADKAR methodology for Organizational Change Management. It is recognized that organizational change management (OCM) is a critical component to project success and as such, the PDO has implemented change management roles and deliverables as an inherent part of every IT project.

The Change Management Analyst is expected to use their experience and expertise to support the change management efforts on the assigned project through creation and delivery of change management deliverables in alignment with the ADKAR methodology and best practices.

This role focuses on the creation of change management work products and deliverables for distribution to the change manager and relates to creation of work products for proofing by the Change Manager and deployment through the sponsor assigned to the project(s).

The Change Management Analyst will functionally report to the change manager for the project. Certification in ADKAR methodology is strongly preferred.

The Change Manager Analyst responsibilities will include :

  • Prepare for change by working with the project team through the Change Manager assigned to understand the project and assess the magnitude of change from the current state to post implementation.
  • Maintaining project documentation related to the change management activities as per the PDO project standards and guidance
  • Following ADKAR methodology and the standards set out by the Project Delivery Office to deliver OCM for the project.
  • Facilitating discussions for the purpose of gathering and understanding the stakeholders and impacts of the change
  • Identify a set of actionable and targeted OCM activities and efforts to be included in the overall project plan
  • Develop the required change management deliverables including, but not limited to, the Change Management strategy, Change Management Plan, communication plan, sponsor reports, training plan and resistance management plan.
  • Conduct readiness assessments, evaluate results, identify risks, issues and anticipated points of resistance and make recommendations as necessary
  • Working independently and collaboratively with team members as required
  • The resource is required as soon as possible and will be required to work on site at Client's Head Office in Regina. Proposed hourly rate shall be inclusive of all travel and living costs (PST and GST are extra).

    This position is a one year term. Client will then evaluate its on-going requirements and potentially extend the terms for the resources in accordance with the terms and conditions of the proponent’s Master Services Agreement.

    Formal training in Change Management with ADKAR Certification is an asset for this role as well as past experience in delivering change management content to support the delivery of Organizational Change Management (OCM) for IT projects on an enterprise-

    wide scale. Proposals are to provide examples of OCM experience including a detailed discussion of their roles, responsibilities and deliverables on the initiative.

    Proposals should also provide specific and qualitative verbiage of other areas where resource expertise can add value to this initiative, and make our project as successful as possible.
