Product Marketing Associate Specialist

We're looking for an outgoing and proactive Product Marketing Associate Specialist to join our print production marketing team.

You will utilize your print industry knowledge and entrepreneurial spirit to provide technical and sales support to Sales Representatives and dealers for multiple product lines.

You'll be the technical expert and first point of contact for production product line information.

What You'll Be Doing :

  • Support product sales and launches by creating product launch materials, promotional materials, initiating product training, developing sales support tools and making pricing recommendations
  • Design, develop, deliver and maintain high impact communication pieces such as presentations and marketing tools, French Kits, print samples, and web based marketing tools
  • Develop product communications for Sales Team including press releases and discontinuation announcements
  • Maintain price books for multiple sales channels, for multiple product lines
  • Develop and execute the annual production marketing plan by recommending tactics,
  • growth strategies, and training objectives to achieve annual unit budget for production

  • Support various teams in resolving inquiries in the field, and ensure that they are trained on new products and software.
  • Liaise with other Canon sales companies and affiliated industry organizations to gather product information
  • What We're Looking For :

  • Post Secondary education in Graphics Communication Management or related field
  • 3-5 years of related work experience is required
  • Excellent technical skills to utilize colour theory, paper weights, industry jargon and machines
  • Superb equipment operation skills to operate image presses, software, and third party products
  • Ability to assess customer requirements, gather information from various sources, review sales margins to determine pricing recommendations
  • Strong project and process management skills
  • Experience using Adobe Creative Suite
  • French is considered an asset
  • G7 Certification is considered an asset
  • Travel to U.S. required to conduct demos on a frequent basis
