The Canada School of Public Service (CSPS) is looking for teachers or instructors to teach French and English to its employees (CSPS).
Location :
National Capital Region, with option to telework (must have access to internet and use MS Teams)
Teaching Format : Online
We will use the screening questions for essential and asset experiences and education. Please answer all the screening questions and clearly demonstrate how, when and where the qualification was met through substantiation by examples as well as the period(s) dring which you performed the functions.
Intent of the process
The intent of this process is to create a list of casual supply teachers to fill temporary needs on an ongoing basis.
VERY IMPORTANT NOTE : You must meet all essential qualifications in order to be included in the inventory.

In order to be considered, your application must clearly explain how you meet the following (essential qualifications)
EDUCATION
Graduation with a degree from a recognized post-secondary institution with acceptable specialization in education, linguistics, sociology, psychology, mathematics, physics, home economics or some other specialty relevant to the positions in the classification.
EXPERIENCES
Experience in teaching.
Experience using Microsoft Teams or other videoconferencing software.

Various language requirements
KNOWLEDGE
Knowledge of teaching English or French as a second language.
Knowledge of lesson planning and curriculum design for adult learners.
PERSONAL SUITABILITIES
Working effectively with others
Showing initiative and being action-oriented
ABILITIES
Ability to identify and to respond to student learning needs.
Ability to plan and organize workload (Classes, Courses, etc.).
Ability to use online tools and technology related to teaching.

EXPERIENCE
Experience in teaching English or French as a second language to adults.
Experience in teaching public servants in preparation for SLE exams.
Experience with the new technologies in education.
