Our client, CNF Marketing, is searching for a General Manager to join their team. The General Manager is responsible for the management of staff and overseeing all operations of CNF Marketing.

The General Manager is instrumental in leading the business growth, keeping up with current online sales and growing marketing trends, and maintaining a high quality of service for the company.

This position manages financials, eCommerce and technology, customer service, sales and marketing, and strategic planning initiates along with the Owners.

The General Manager will be responsible for overseeing the purchasing of the fur products to sell, ensuring quality of the products and packaging, always aware of the trendy fashions, building strong relationships with the suppliers, shipping and receiving, and managing both warehouse and customer service operations to maximize the exposure and online sales for customers all over the world in a cost effective manner.

Responsibilities.Manage team on a daily basis involving discipline, answering staff questions, problem solving, performance management, leading staff / team meetings, approving salary ranges, hours of work, recruiting, termination, etc.

  • Manage the warehouse operations to ensure quality, safety, cleanliness, and efficiency; shipping and receiving, ensuring the quality and purchase orders are correct.
  • Provide weekly reports and monthly financial reports to the owners. .Build relationships and communicate with over 30 fur suppliers on an international level;
  • negotiating contracts, purchasing products, negotiate marketing opportunities, and ensuring the most cost-effective rates with credit card companies.

  • Source new products involving travel to different stores, follow the auctions, online research, staying on top of fashion trends and being aware of what celebrities are wearing, fashion sense and intuition, and having a vast knowledge of fur trends and types of furs.
  • Attend conferences, shows, and networking events; building contacts in the industry and promoting the company in a professional manner.
  • Run, review and analyze sales reports, such as popular styles, making decisions as to whether the company will continue carrying certain products, arranging return rates.
  • Inventory management and assisting Owners in purchasing products in bulk orders, and signing off on purchase orders..Organizes and manages the photo shoots with the CNF team;
  • ensures the descriptions of the products are ready to be put online, creates SKU's for all items, and implements sales promotions.

  • Oversees and reviews the financials along with Owners and bookkeeper. .Develop and implement marketing plans for company growth;
  • coordinating the details for the buying area of the websites, identifying popular items based on trends and sales forecasts to sell, and promotions / discounts.

  • Improve, monitor and maintain the technology and websites for the company; ensuring full optimization and operations of the websites, developing new ideas and special projects such as a mobile app, and outsource third party assistant for IT needs as required.
  • Sell and attract visitors to the online stores by creating website banner promotions, unique graphic image displays, and updating the websites.
  • Instrumental in strategic planning for the company with the Ownership team..Grow and diversify the product lines beyond furs.
  • Skills & Abilities .5+ years' experience in a similar management role.Must possess strong manufacturing or retail experience.

    Must possess experience in maintaining inventory levels and in buying and cost negotiating.Must understand and possess strong knowledge of e-

    commerce, financials, cash flow.Understands the seasonality of the business.Knowledge in the fashion and garment industry and the terms would be an asset.

    Demonstrate a passion for the fashion industry, demonstrates fashion sense, and has an eye for fashion.Must take initiative, be responsive, and a collaborative team player.
