The PRM directs and supervises the maintenance department and is responsible for aircraft fleet management and all maintenance related regulatory compliance for a CAR 704 / 705 operation.
The PRM must be able to lead the ongoing development of business opportunities for the AMO / MRO and related activities.
The PRM reports directly to the VP Fleet Management and is responsible to the Accountable Executive for the maintenance policy systems of the AMO / MRO and adherence to all relevant Transport Canada regulations
Working directly with Maintenance Planning ensure the aircraft fleet is maintained in conformance with professional standards, good industry practices and regulatory requirements
Responsible for the custody and care of technical records
Responsible for the functioning of the stores system and the purchasing, receiving, storage, traceability and shipping of aeronautical products and materials
Responsible for the evaluation and recommendation of aircraft, equipment and component replacement and additions
Responsible to support development and growth in related business areas of the MRO, including manufacturing, sales and MRO services
Responsible for making the division an employer of choice through proven leadership and mentorship
Provide strong business support and assistance to the CEO and the management team. Must be a passionate advocate for the business and help keep the organization focused on executing key priorities
Responsible to ensure that all activities under the direction of the VP Fleet Management provide a positive contribution to the company’s profitability and growth prospects
As a leader and regulatory post holder, must embrace and demonstrate commitment to KBA’s safety policy and programs
Proven leadership skills, including teambuilding, coaching and people development. Promote excellence, commitment, accountability, and teamwork throughout the maintenance departments
