Insights Manager; Shelving, Assortment, and Plant Proteins
The Opportunity :
This position is responsible for shelving standards and capability, Assortment execution and forward looking retail visions that enable our future growth platforms.
The position will uniquely provide a future looking point of view as to where shoppers expect to see Plant proteins in all retail channels to maximize the sales of all proteins which includes core packaged meats categories.
This position would be responsible for all customers but focused on our biggest ones where there may be specific projects and areas defined as our biggest priorities.
This position would also be responsible for bringing shopper insights to our customers with the help of our consumer insights team, that would inform the protein department of the future for our retailers and for executing a test and learn plans across retailers to refine our in-store execution.

This should include an external, retailer point of view on future category visions with the help of our strategy, marketing and consumer research resources along with a vision on how it should show up in store and on line from a shopper perspective.
along with the sales volume associated with traditional packaged meats categories (Bacon, Wieners, Sausage, Ham). Enable Maple Leaf to be viewed by retailers as thought leaders, category experts, with an objective point of view who is the 1st choice partner to help them develop strategies for retail opportunities.
Standard measurement and shelf opportunities will be identified, with action plans developed to close gaps. Lead the alignment of the shelving strategy with Category Sales Development, Customer Business Team VP / GMs, and Finance to ensure shelving projects are budgeted for, included in customer team Customer Action Plans / Joint Business Plans, and on Customer Business Team work plans.
