Job Details

We are looking for an energetic, highly motivated Post Doctoral fellow with a documented history of immunologic research and a strong background in bioinformatics .

The aim is to study and develop novel strategies to better understand allergen immune-interactions for the diagnosis and treatment of food allergy.

Here's What You Get to Do :

  • be actively involved in the design and conduction of experiments to answer questions related to the project given
  • work independent
  • organize and analyze data, derive final conclusions based on her / his analysis and discussions with experts in and outside of the lab
  • work on manuscripts, grant proposals, abstracts based on the research findings
  • effectively communicate, and coordinate sample / data exchange as part of clinical trials with the help of research coordinators and collaborators.
  • Supervise undergraduate students related to her / his given projects
  • Here's What You Need :

  • A PhD degree in allergy / immunology, or a related field and a strong interest in immune mechanism of food allergy in particular immunological tolerance development.
  • Experience in working with human samples and an understanding of human immunology.
  • Experience in working with clinical trial data will be a plus.
  • Experience on human immune cell sorting, primary cell culture and standard techniques such as western blot, ELISA, real time PCR, confocal microscopy.
  • Molecular biology techniques in the context of RNA sequencing
  • Programming experience preferably in R
  • Experience in RNA seq and Array analysis
  • Experience of advanced multi-color flow cytometry (10>
  • color) and / or mass cytometry (CyTOF) measurement and analysis

  • A proven track record in innovative problem solving.
  • Good communication skills and fluency in both spoken and written English.
  • Employment Type : Full Time, 1 year contract (possibility of renewal)
