This is an excellent newly created Sales Manager role. Our client is a parts & equipment distributor to the construction industry.
The focus of the role is driving new business! This is a great opportunity for a long-term career as our client continues to grow.
This role has the title of Sales Manager / Director of Sales but really the function is as an individual contributor. This role reports to the President.
What you should expect :
Build new relationships / partnerships with a variety of contacts and open new markets
Work directly with agents across the country
Build Sales & Marketing program with President
Identify new market trends
Re-Vitalize past / inactive customer
Utilize CRM to manage relationships, activities and opportunities
Commit and focus on achieving KPI’s
What you should bring :
10+ years of stable sales experience with ability to prove results
Experience working within the construction & industrial sales industry
Mechanically inclined ability to understand technical product applications and sell to a highly educated client base
Highly analytical and numbers driven
Extremely strong presentation skills and comfortable selling in a boardroom but also wearing work boots and a hard hat
Ability to effectively influence & negotiate
