This position will report to the Merchandise Catalogue Manager and will focus on managing the customer experience for the areas of responsibility in the online catalogue, product content, and sample management.

The successful candidate will also be responsible of ensuring on-time publishing of products on site, while working directly with the eCommerce platform and related systems.

Highlights :

  • Ensure that product content is accurate, posted and complete in the eCommerce platform system;
  • Assign categories and sequence numbers for daily product release;
  • Preview and publish product pages;
  • Prepare site content to highlight key promotions, brands and trends;
  • Swiftly respond to and correct site issues flagged from site audits;
  • Sample Management which includes, but is not exclusive to : sourcing samples from stores and the warehouses, receiving samples & preparing them for photography, communication with the marketing team, and assisting in SKU set-up;
  • Partner with various teams to complete content merchandising, category creation, category uploads, and completeness and accuracy of product content;
  • Act as back-up for other members of the team.
  • Key Qualifications :

  • Minimum one (1) year of retail experience;
  • Outstanding analytical skills with the ability to work under tight deadlines with changing priorities;
  • Excellent time-management and organizational skills;
  • Strong multi-tasking abilities;
  • Fundamental understanding of retail and business math concepts;
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills;
  • Strong communication skills;
  • Previous experience in a merchandising, buying support or assistant role, an asset;
  • Experience with JDA or similar software such as AS400 an asset;
  • Bilingualism (English & French), an asset.
