Whatwill YOU do as a Leader in Development at H&M?

TheLeader in Development or Department Supervisor (as we like to call it) is atrue developing leader in our store locations! As a Leader in Developmentyou will first choose if you would like your focus to be Department Manager orVisual Merchandiser.

Witha Department Manager Focus you will :

  • Leadpeople to demonstrate the H&M values and provide great customer service, todrive the selling goals.
  • Showyour potential and passion by reacting to the business to ensure profitabilityfor a smaller department at H&M.
  • Createan inviting and exciting presentation of our fashion in collaboration with thevisual team.
  • Learnto open and close an H&M store location.
  • Workwith sales, cost plans KPIs and budgets to make business decisions to ensuremaximum profitability in a department.
  • Followand execute safety and security routines to prevent loss and guarantee employeeand customer safety.
  • Witha Visual Merchandiser Focus you will :

  • Createan environment that inspires customers to explore their personal style in a smallerdepartment.
  • Share,inspire and educate the store team on seasonal trend information.
  • Ensureyou meet customer expectations on direct service according to H&Mstandards.
  • Securewell-styled mannequins in windows and in store and make sure garment presentationis inspiring.
  • Createa clear story from windows to the indoor of the store with wearable buyingsuggestions.
  • Ensurehigh quality, commercial garment presentation with good garment care everyday.
  • Providestrong concept flow by maintaining the concept layout, fixtures andnavigation.
  • Launchand maintain all sales campaigns and activities on time and according toH&M standards.
  • Identifyopportunities to increase customer satisfaction and sales in collaboration withdepartment managers.
  • Performsales follow-up and initiate actions to reach sales targets.

  • You have a passion for your profession and you love maximizing store selling or visual presentation through your people!

  • You understand retail is an ever-changing industry and you are easily adaptable to navigate change.
  • You have strong merchandising skills with the ability to drive the business through creativity and fashion knowledge.

  • Qualifications

  • You are a High School graduate or equivalent or you have an Associate’s or Bachelor’s Degree
  • You have 1-2 years of retail management experience, including experience as a supervisor, keyholder or visual.
  • You can lift excess of 20 pounds, you can stand for extended periods of time; bend, stretch, engage in repetitive motions, push;
  • pull and carry items (mannequins, clothing, totes, torsos, etc.) for a short distance.

  • You are able to climb a ladder and use a stepstool.
  • You have open availability including evenings and weekend.
