DEPARTMENT SUMMARY : The Financial Services Distribution Planning & Support team is responsible for the partnership and support of the Distribution Leadership team in the development and execution of the national distribution strategy.
In addition, this team works with Field Directors and Consultants to provide Field Human Resources support in establishing and inspiring a diverse, inclusive and empowered field culture through well supported and executed initiatives.
POSITION SUMMARY : This role is a key resource to the Senior Distribution Leadership team by supporting the organization and management of the day to day and strategic decisions in support of the field network.
This role requires superior communication, organizational and project execution skills. The main aspect of this role is to manage the development of a strong communication platform;
feedback mechanisms; event and web based or in-person meeting content, as well as on-line resources.
DUTIES INCLUDE :
Assists in developing communication strategy for effective understanding by multiple and various audience levels.
Prepares business communication / planning templates and presentations - identifies gaps and ensures consistency in content and delivery on a national basis.
Assists in the co-ordination of Distribution Leadership meetings, including follow-up on tasks and activities for the completion of objectives.
Provides support to on-going development of content for the Regional Director Web Conference, FDR site, ADV+, and Field meeting and events (i.
e. Leaders Academy, National Regional Director Meeting, RD Small Group meetings, APEX, etc.)
Assists in the design, organization and management of communications and meeting agendas with key stakeholder advisory groups National Regional Director;
National Division Director; National Consultant; National Associate.
Provides oversight and active participation in the daily review of Idea Network, in addition to on-going review and coordination of responses to ideas submitted.
Also provides support in the development and launch of topic specific IN campaigns.
Provides support in the management and coordination of feedback from multiple communication platforms for active prioritization and escalation.
i.e. Idea Network; Advisory Groups; Senior Executive call out programs; Senior Executive region visitation programs).
Plays active role in supporting Distribution in change management through effective communication planning and support.
Key liaison with Corporate Communication and Marketing partners.
Superior communication skills, both written and verbal with a demonstrated ability to interact effectively at all levels.
3+ years experience working in a financial services industry setting
Completion of a post-secondary degree or equivalent applicable to the role (Communication degree highly valued)
Strong project execution and problem-solving skills
Proficiency in using MS Excel, MS Word, and MS PowerPoint
Creative and skilled approach to presentation and communication development
Strong knowledge and expertise of IG Wealth Management Distribution Network preferred
Ability to work autonomously, with high levels of initiative, accountability, and a progressive attitude towards innovation and change.
