Job description

As a Customer Service Representative, you will be the first point of contact for our merchants based in the US when they require assistance or have questions concerning their processing account.

The incumbent will be driven by a desire to win over the merchant’s love.

This is a full-time, permanent position in our new modern office in beautiful downtown Montreal.

Responsibilities

  • Respond to customer inquiries about their accounts and services, while creating opportunities to present multiple product lines
  • Customer inquiries will come through various forums : phone, email, livechat. Customer Service Representatives will primarily work within the inbound queue and must adhere to inbound queue SLAs and expectations.
  • Organize, coordinate, and execute account strategies to build rapport with business owners
  • Encourage First Call Resolution as much as possible
  • Educate merchants on self-serve options
  • Coordinate with industry partners to help resolve issues and add value to your merchants’ accounts
  • Escalate complex issues to Relationship Managers and Supervisors
  • Qualifications

  • Excellent problem solving and multitasking skills
  • Superior computer and technical skills
  • 1 year previous experience in a customer service role, preferably in a corporate or call centre environment
  • University degree or equivalent
  • Excellent English verbal and written communication skills
