What you need to know about the job
Leverage domain expertise to analyze customer networks that utilize various technologies and solutions
Work on complex problems requiring in-depth fault analysis and troubleshooting.
Replicate customer topologies in lab
Develop & deliver solutions to resolve customer issues
Provide guidance, mentoring to junior team members
Participate in solutions for the internal knowledge base and serviceability reviews
Required Qualifications :
7-10 years of experience as Customer Support (L3 escalation role), configuration and troubleshooting Network Management Suites / Network Access Control technologies for multi-vendor data networks
Expert knowledge and protocol level understanding of IP networking, Switching technologies VLAN, STP (all types), LACP, Virtual switching Aruba VSX or Cisco VSS / VSP or equivalent, spine-leaf architecture
Expert level knowledge of IP routing & protocols - RIP, OSPF, BGP, policy-based routing, Multicast
Packet level understanding of ARP, DHCP, UDP, TCP, ICMP, SNMP with expert level experience in packet / protocol analysis
Proficient in Datacenter architectures : Spine / Leaf, VXLAN, BGP EVPN, MPLS, etc
Expert working knowledge if virtualization solutions like VMware ESXi, vSphere
Experienced with system administration / operation, performance analysis, Linux shell, and Windows Active Directory
Intermediate level knowledge and experience with Container Technologies (Kubernetes, Docker, Grafana, Kibana, Humio)
Industry certification CCNA / CCNP is required, CCIE / CWNP preferred
Experience with design and implementation of Aruba Networks products and solutions. ACMP, ACMX, ACDX, ACCX, ACSA, ACSP certification is an added bonus
Preferred Qualifications :
Intermediate level knowledge of Linux, Bash, REST APIs
Working knowledge of JSON, YAML data formats used for log management
Working knowledge of network automation & analysis tools Ansible, StackStorm, Grafana, Humio
