The National Field Marketing Specialist (MS) will support the sales team with providing world-class marketing services for Pearson Canada’s portfolio of K-
12 products. The MS will report into the Director, Marketing K-1 with accountabilities to the Regional Sales Managers (RSMs), while collaborating with Marketing Managers.
The MS will work closely with the RSMs on defining and fine-tuning national strategies. The MS will work on various initiatives to identify national and cross-
discipline opportunities, and plan and execute tactics and initiatives to drive prospect / customer engagement with sales reps ultimately creating efficiencies in sales conversions.
The MS will also work closely with portfolio Marketing Managers.
Plan and execute timely deployment of nationally focused campaigns
Build outreach campaigns to drive engagement, and identify up-sell / cross-sell opportunities with current customers
Communicates clearly with multiple constituents in a collaborative cross-functional environment
Manage and maintain of various contact lists
4-year degree from an accredited institution in Marketing, Communication, or related field OR appropriate combination of education and experience
Skilled in project management, proofing marketing pieces including : letters, creative briefs, brochures, banners, magazine ads, outbound emails, etc.
Coordinating the development & deployment of marketing collateral
Experience in telemarketing, email marketing, social media is an asset
Self-starter, resourceful, budget-conscious
