Our Mount Forest office is looking for an Accounting Technician / Administrative Assistant to join the Assurance & Accounting team and own the following responsibilities :
Accurate and efficient preparation of bookkeeping and payroll
Preparation of regular external filings such as HST and T4's
Performing reconciliations of bank accounts, accounts payable and accounts receivable
Assist clients with accounting software, bookkeeping, and data entry as required
Supporting our Workday processing including billings, collections and deposits, entering and applying payments, printing and mailing or emailing client invoices
Assist with seasonal tax duties such as preparing tax packages, filing, scanning, etc as required
Provide other clerical support as requested, including reception coverage

Your experience and education
You have a minimum of 1-2 years previous related experience
You possess excellent communication, interpersonal and organizational skills
You have the ability to prioritize with the flexibility to manage workload demands and multiple tasks as required
You are proficient with Accounting Software such as Simply Accounting and QuickBooks; experience with CaseWare / CaseView or Tax Prep is an asset
