Name and description of the hiring department :

The Bell Business Market Carrier Relations team is a multifunctional group of competent and dynamic personnel that manages the relation with Independent Carriers in Quebec and Ontario.

Their role is to manage invoicing, validation and ordering of products with the Independent Carriers. The Client representative is the single point of contact between the Independent Telcos and Bell Canada.

Job Duties / Accountabilities :

  • Responsible for processing, tracking, interpreting data and coordinating installation of services
  • Validation and analysis of Telecom invoices
  • Provide necessary circuit design information to support installations
  • Resolve anomalies & / or issues by troubleshooting in various systems
  • Adapt and develop processes for product and services in order to respond to specific needs of Independent Telcos
  • Responsible to provide information to produce statements / invoices
  • Responsible to adjust data and produce financial results to reflect contractual agreements
  • Validation, investigation and accounting treatment of COGS for Bell Wholesales within various systems
  • Analysis and accounting treatment of the traffic Imbalance (TROOP, BCMS)
  • Rates validation (To align Invoice with CRTC and Custom agreement) and Revenue / Expenses (Toll, Circuits, BRS, BNS, CCS7, Listing)
  • Responsible for producing non standard billing for internal and external customers for all legal entities in SAP
  • Maintain and update various databases
  • Ensure Revenue and Expenses are legit (Produce by Bell and / or Receiving) with various Bell Canada system
  • Responsible for analyzing any billing discrepancy that interrupt the normal billing flow, and for ensuring that all billing period time frames are met
  • Proceed treatment of credits and payments in SAP
  • Responsible for handling billing and payments inquiries from external customers and other departments
  • Ensures the accuracy and completeness of information required to prepare the invoices
  • Journalize entries in SAP for Revenue and Expenses, and approve all expenses below 10K in APSS
  • Prepare month-end process (Accrual, Market and G / L reconciliation) within prescribe delay
  • Analysis and treatment of long distance traffic, public telephone compensation and 911 services
  • Investigate discrepancies & provide impact analysis and document anomalies & variances
  • Participate in the development / testing / implementation / documentation of new processes & / or enhancements
  • Provide support to internal and external stakeholders
  • Essential Qualifications / Competences :

  • MS Excel intermediate level (pivot tables, reconciliation, etc.)
  • Strong knowledge of SAP (Journal entries, searching for Customer / Document and Payment)
  • Customer care representative experience
  • Fluent in French (reading, writing, spoken) with no significant limitation
  • Fluent in English (reading, writing, spoken) with no significant limitation
  • Strong desire to help colleagues, agents and customers
  • Adaptability and ability to manage change (constant change of priorities / tasks)
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks

  • Preferred Qualifications / Competencies :

  • Strong knowledge of small business products and various business solutions (including voice, IP, data, broadband) and related processes
  • MS Word basic level
  • MS Access Intermediate level (Import / Export, reconciliation, etc.)
  • MS Outlook Basic level
  • Knowledge of the following tools : IPACT, BCMS, Web 879, TN3270 (IIS), NIBS, SONG, TROOP, Info Zones
  • Ability to interface with various internal departments
  • Ability to communicate and coordinate with different Independent Telcos
  • Escalation experience

  • Working hours : Monday to Friday between 7 : 00 and 3h30 (subject to change depending on business needs)
  • Job Location address : 671 La Gauchetière O. Montréal, Qc.
  • Bilingualism is required (English and French); adequate knowledge of French is required for positions in Quebec.
