Founded in 2011, Mappedin powers search and discovery indoors, enabling consumers to find what they're looking for with speed and ease.
Our software platform provides industry leading tools to manage dynamic indoor spatial data and offer wayfinding experiences for customer-facing applications, including a recent collaboration with Apple Maps.
Mappedin works with the ten largest malls in Canada, the largest REITs in the US, and in stores, hospitals, campuses, and airports around the world.
The Marketing team at Mappedin is focused on enabling the Growth team to sell our solutions and amplifying the Mappedin brand to be known as the undisputed leader in indoor mapping.
Who you are and what you’ll do
You have experience in previous marketing roles. You want to be a generalist and gain exposure to a variety of marketing functions.
You’re a strong communicator and have enough design skills to create materials like one pagers, product presentations, infographics, and more.

What are some challenges?
Mappedin’s solutions are technical. While no technical background is required, you will need to learn how our products work and why they are valuable.
Every day at Mappedin can be different so you need to be flexible and comfortable with shifting priorities. The Marketing Coordinator co-op position is new to Mappedin so there isn’t a rigid structure on what this role looks like.
Behind the scenes
The Marketing team includes Marketing, Product, and Customer Success departments. This means you work in close contact with team members that understand our customers inside and out, build the value of our products, and know how to communicate this externally.
There's a lot of trust here at Mappedin. We will do what it takes to get things done if we said we would do it. We stay curious and will always ask each other questions, rarely making assumptions.
We recognize that we are all different and will challenge each other's views and perceptions from time to time, resulting in constructive and healthy debates, but that never stops us from all eating lunch together every day.
