This role sits within LBC Tech a subsidiary of Laurentian Bank Financial Group. The role can be based anywhere in Canada.

The Senior IT System Integrator is a key member of the Technology Infrastructure Team and is responsible to work with project teams, business leads, managers to identify and respond to infrastructure requests.

Coordination of multiple IT teams, assuming end-to-end technical responsibility and engaging IT partners into implementation while adhering to enterprise-level / group-level standards and best-practices.

The successful candidate will have experience and expertise in delivering a stable and available end user environment.

This role operates within a shared service delivery model where some services are delivered through an outsourced IT environment and other services are being delivered with in-house resources.

Responsibilities

º Lead and manage end-to-end services delivery for the technology infrastructure teams portfolio

º Submission and closure of Change Requests and activities, and monitoring through completion

º Participation in estimates and resource requirements

º Manage intake and prioritization of backlog for technology infrastructure teams

º Organize and lead technical meetings / work sessions with regards to implementation, as required by projects

º Participate in the technical advisory board (TAB) review weekly

º Provide both process and technical recommendations to address opportunities and facilitate implementations

º First level of escalation for project teams, if required

º Inform Project Manager of delivery constraints caused by the unavailability of resources and tight schedules

º Actively participate in the decision-making process during the core project team meetings, informing the core team members of work progress and notifying them of issues / risks, along with suggested mitigation plans

º Assist in maintaining and testing business continuity / disaster recovery plans, processes, and procedures necessary to recover services in the event of a declared disaster.

Qualifications

º University Degree in Computer Science or College Diploma in Computer Science

º Minimum 10 years of related experience

º Minimum 5 years experience supporting a large scale, mission critical enterprise in a 24x7 operating environment.

º Strong organizational and attention to detail skills, and Accountability for results and deadlines

º A strong desire to understand client environments, provide the highest value to the team and clients and take ownership of tasks in coordination with the teams

º Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (e.g., Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Visio and SharePoint)

º Proficiency in ServiceNow

º Experience applying ITIL best practices is an asset.

º Strong problem solver and team player who is confident and challenged in a fast-paced environment supporting a wide range of technologies.

º Proactive and results-oriented with good time management skills, and the ability to work well under pressure and focus on multiple priorities concurrently.

º Excellent organization and interpersonal skills.

º Excellent verbal and written communication, and documentation skills.

º Bilingualism (English / French) communication skills is an asset.

Additional Information

On call availability.

After hours and weekend implementations management and coordination.
