Cobol Developer at the Centrale
Your main challenges :
9679; Providing professional support to sectors and developing or modifying computer programs while respecting user needs and specifications, business imperatives and established deadlines
9679; Carry out a reliable and efficient programming while ensuring the performance and quality of the system structure
9679; Participate in the different test phases throughout the development cycle
9679; Establish validation and quality control procedures, based on established development standards and standards, and perform comprehensive tests to ensure that the systems developed or modified are adequate
9679; Analyzed the change requests in the systems, assessed the impacts on existing applications and made the appropriate modifications
9679; Provide technical support to respond to user requests or during problems affecting existing applications and implement the necessary fixes
More specifically, you will have to :
9679; Participate in various project activities in Agile mode
9679; Participated in the analysis and implementation of requests for changes and estimates of application maintenance requests
9679; Participate in the resolution of customer and application support requests
9679; Support our applications in order to maintain our level of service
9679; Evolve our working methods in order to be more Agile and improve our efficiency
9679; Respect the norms and standards of development and update the technical and functional documentation
9679; Three-year college diploma or equivalent, related to the industry, and 5 years of relevant experience in Cobol / DB2 / IMS at the Centrale.
9679; Central knowledge, COBOL, IMS / DB2, Telon, Easytrieve, IBM 390
9679; Knowledge of MVS / ESA operating system, Windows
9679; Knowledge of File-Aid, Xpediter, QMF, Endover, Spufi development tools
9679; Experience in banking and / or finance desirable
9679; Collaboration capacity
9679; Rigor and autonomy
9679; Team work
9679; Bilingualism (spoken / written) French and English
