Reporting

The Spares Inventory / Project Coordinator reports directly to the Chief Operating Officer.

  • Key Performance Indicators / Duties & Responsibilities

  • Support the Spares division with cost-analysis and budget forecasts on repairs.
  • Collaborating with Leasing division, GTF, and other divisions to bring value to all inventories throughout the organization.
  • Coordinate the department projects regarding any aircraft teardown projects.
  • Ensure maximum inventory value in the handling of non-serviceable parts and Avmax-owned aircraft.
  • Review repairs to determine long-term product support, including in-house support and PMA / PDA.
  • Generate sales through establishing and maintaining meaningful relationships with clients.
  • Work with customers, colleagues, and vendors to ensure overall program success, including
  • Sales
  • Repair contracts
  • Parts purchasing
  • Obsolescence
  • Reliability
  • Product improvements
  • Quality
  • Work with the Director of Components & Accessories to support the continual growth and success of the Component Shop.
  • Support AALI with parts logistics and sales to ensure AALI parts requirements are met.
  • Collaborate with other team members to maximize efficiency and value within the department.
  • Work closely with other departments throughout the organization to provide guidance on the asset management process as required.

  • Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree or college diploma in Business Administration, Economics, or related field is preferred.
  • Certification or professional designation in Project Management (PMP) or equivalent preferred.
  • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office applications.
  • Experience

  • Minimum 3 years of experience in aviation and parts / inventory system.
  • Sales experience in aviation is considered a strong asset.
