Do you want to make a difference with our customer, as pre-sales business development Senior Consultant working on Complex Solutions (CCS)?
You will lead and be accountable for the development of complex integrated bids across the broad range of TELUS' capabilities : Information Technology (IT), data, voice, applications & wireless.
The CCS actively engages with the TELUS Sales team and other internal stakeholders in a consulting role by providing strategic guidance to address large complex deals, to provide long term value for our clients and TELUS.

During the sales cycle, qualify opportunities and ensure alignment with targeted account planning and sales
Play a significant role in closing deals, and in select cases in partnership with the Sales team, negotiate the final deal
Expertise is required for solution development and leading creative win themes that map to the customer's needs and underpin a strong TELUS value proposition
Assist in vetting partnership arrangements and partnership agreements
Risk assessment is key!, evaluating risk and corresponding risk mitigation strategies for financial risk, technological risk, project risk, competitive risk, regulatory risk, internal risk and brand risk
Lend your knowledge and expertise by contributing market and competitive information to support the sales strategy and by collaborating with channel engagement to better understand and log market / competition and sales activities into our intelligence database
Your ideal profile includes :
Envisioning, scoping, estimating and managing large, complex architectures for platform development and deployment projects
Engaging in technical discussions with senior level decision-makers
Deep understanding of business solutions and reusable components within complex solutions development
Sales acumen and relationship excellence
Knowledge of the financial, technical, contractual, and governance integrity of the solution
Minimum 3-5 years of deep consulting experience is highly recommended and preferred; must be viewed within the industry as a credible technical expert
Strong project management skills : Coordinating various objectives across multiple internal, partner, and functional entities is ongoing and a daily activity
Executive Communications : Storyboarding, storytelling, and translating the message for technical and non-technical audiences
10+ years of working in the IT industry in a technical capacity with experience designing, deploying, and migrating key systems
