As a Parts & Service PricingConsultant, you will execute the VW brand parts & accessories’ pricing activities.That includes performing analysis, scenario and impact simulations on costs,sales, profits, market share and price positioning.
Therefore the rolecontributes significantly to VW Canada and VW Dealers’ short and long termbusiness objectives in the area of After-
Sales, especially the annual parts andaccessory sales.
PricingOperations; Data / Systems / Tools / Infrastructure; Continuous Improvement; Complianceand Risk Management Control; and Impact.
Responsible for the VolkswagenExclusive parts & accessories’ overall pricing operations.
Performs analysis, scenario andimpact simulations on costs, sales, profits, market share, price positioning,strategy and segmentation to create actionable insights for strategic andinformed decision making
Responsible for the development,recommendation, execution, evaluation, and enhancement of various pricingstrategies and tactics
Making critical, informed decisionsin establishing optimal and competitive parts price points based on internaland external market information and key pricing indicators
including the Volkswagen Canada’s annual sales of$140 Mio with a gross profit of $45 Mio, and other major KPIs of VWAG andDealers all while achieving market share, customer, and dealership loyaltytargets.
Bachelor’s degree in Business,Economics or Marketing; MBA is an asset
A great attitude and proven abilityto be an effective business partner, team player, and collaborator
5years of Economics, Finance, Pricing, Marketing and Quality, Data Analytics experience,including strong knowledge in automotive parts (characteristics, group, usage,etc.
after sales business operations (OEM or dealer side), and Canadianautomotive OEM and aftermarket business profile
Priorexperience with pricing automotive parts and systems is an advantage
Proven success in crunching andanalyzing big data
Partners at all levels of theorganization, with ability to negotiate and influence to achieve results
Excellent communication andpresentation skills
Proven track record in strategicplanning and process orientation
Strong knowledge of pricing scienceand concepts and analytical skills
Exceptional decision making, problemsolving, time management and influencing skills without authority
Highly collaborative, team orientedand customer-focused
Strong computer skills including advancedknowledge of Excel, PowerPoint and Access; working knowledge of SAP, BusinessWarehouse and Salesforce an asset
Proficiencyin data analytics, statistics, relational database and visualization software,such as Tableau, Microstrategy, Looker, Qlick, etc. an asset
Understanding of the big data 5V’s volume,velocity, variety, veracity, value an asset
