Job Description

Are you looking for a fresh start at a great company? A job with an opportunity to train and grow? We are looking for candidates with good work ethic who are not afraid to get their hands dirty to start on our Sorting team, where you will be sorting recycled goods coming in from our customers.

This role starts at $16 / hR.

Perform sorting the activities laid out by the department Lead Hand and / or the Plant Supervisor, in a safe and efficient manner.

This dynamic and diverse sorting team plays an integral role in the suplpy of raw material to Cascades mills.

Job Responsibilities

To safely and efficiently perform sorting, grading and placement of recycled materials in their appropriate areas according to the specific Departments’ requirements and production standards.

Perform other duties as laid out by the Department Lead Hand e.g. housekeeping, equipment and yard cleaning, schaeffer washing, snow removal, assisting truck driver

High school

Previous experience in an industrial setting is preferable

Good hand-eye coordination

Work takes place in a recycling plant - exposure to seasonal hot / cold elements, handling dirty goods

Ability to stand for a long period of time.
