Utilizing your strong analytical skills, financial background and cash management experience, you will be responsible for preparing cash flow and forecasting reports and variance analyses to support the Head of Tax & Treasury in achieving Company's financial objectives related to treasury & cash management, liquidity, debt financing, working capital, foreign exchange, commodity hedging, investment and risk management, ensuring compliance with internal controls and financial covenants.

  • Key Accountabilities

  • Work closely with the Finance group to manage day-to-day group cash flow and working capital, ensuring adequate liquidity to meet daily operational needs and optimizing the overall group liquidity position.
  • Manage credit facility including draws, rollovers, principal reductions, weekly borrowing base schedule preparation, and reconciliation to lender statements.
  • Support the Group Treasury administrative function, including maintenance of signatories for each entity and overall banking documentation and regular system
  • Prepare the consolidated group weekly and monthly cash flow forecast, ensuring accurate timing of sales inflows and expenditure outflows.
  • Coordinate foreign exchange transaction-related administration and reporting for spot and hedging activity and interact with payment groups for wire settlements for the transactions.
  • Support hedging activities (foreign exchange and commodities), including analysis and reporting of hedge positions / exposures and preparation of monthly derivative mark to market report.
  • Coordinate the business' working capital and balance sheet forecast cycle and prepare cash projections.
  • Manage credit facilities administration including borrowing, repayments and rollovers.
  • Analyze bank interest income, fees, charges and identify and resolve discrepancies.
  • Keep abreast of market practices and continuously develop implement and enhance treasury related processes and procedures to optimize efficiencies.
  • Ensure treasury operating procedures are well documented, accessible and aligned to the regulatory standards.
  • Manage the letters of credit, surety bonds, financial guarantees, and financial security arrangements for the Trevali group, ensuring appropriate renewals and competitive pricing.

    Education & Experience

  • Bachelor's Degree in Business, Commerce, Economics or a related discipline.
  • CFA or CPA is an asset.
  • 5+ years' related treasury experience including cash management, FX and cash flow forecasting and reporting.
  • Experience working with multiple bank accounts, preferably in a global organization in the mining industry.
  • Experience with base metals commodity hedging and offtake contracts is an asset.
  • Experience interacting with a lending syndicate and the required reporting is an asset.
