About the role

Intact Financial Corporation (IFC) is the largest provider of property and casualty (P&C) insurance in Canada and a leading provider of specialty insurance in North America.

It’s service-based IT strategy demands a strong and flexible hybrid multi-cloud component.

As Product Owner (PO) in the M365 products you ensure the concrete and iterative delivery of strategic value to Intact’s collaboration products by establishing adoption strategies and innovations.

Responsible for the development, adoption and support of M365 products, the Agile team must continuously tackle the challenges associated and prioritize accordingly.

In order to maximize the business value generated by the Collaboration team, the product owner will integrate and manage the needs and expectations of the various actors at the operational and tactical level with a clear concern for risk management.

In active collaboration with the Scrum master and the manager, the M365 product owner must enable and fuel the innovative and value-based approach required.

Responsibilities :

  • Drive the vision, strategy, and roadmap for the M36 in alignment with the ITS business objectives
  • Recommend strategies to streamline products for effectiveness and efficiency
  • Create, and maintain user stories, and develop and prioritize functional requirements for new or revised features or enhancements
  • Participate in Daily Scrums, Sprint Planning Meetings, Sprint Reviews and Retrospectives
  • Ensure development and delivery teams are aligned with product strategy and business expectations of features and timelines
  • Take on leadership roles in problem-solving and respond immediately to emergencies
  • Participate in organizational change management activities related M365 products
  • Develop a thorough understanding of the M365 product evolution, upgrades, and roadmap
  • Champion global collaboration and knowledge sharing M365 best practices
  • Provide project leadership where M365 products are involved
  • Partner with business and IT leaders to identify and prioritize opportunities for utilizing M365 products capabilities thru Governance meetings
  • Establish and maintain regular engagements with multiple stakeholder groups to manage business requirements, define product roadmaps and new demand
  • Present business cases to executives and governance committees to secure funding, seek agreement on product direction, gain acceptance around risks and issues
  • Entertain vendor relationships for product’s advisory
  • Qualifications

  • Strong knowledge of the M365 Collaboration suite, Notes and Power Apps suite.
