As the Financial Operations Analyst, you will provide a financial support to the plant manager, by being part of the plant management committee.
Within your functions, you will need to :
Analyses the plant’s operating results respecting dairy commodities and the various operating costs.
Looks after producing the appropriate reports and ensuring the data is accurate, developing the appropriate benchmarks and making the appropriate recommendations;
Responsible for plants’ accounting files and month-end management tasks.
Preparation of the plants forecast, analyze any discrepancies and makes the appropriate recommendations
Determines usage of dairy commodities for milk payment purposes and the management of special categories;
Serves as an advisory resource and a training facilitator for the plant’s employees with regard to cost management, and ensures internal control related policies and procedures in effect within the organization are being applied at the plant;
Supports the cost accounting group;
Takes part in developing the plant’s information systems and is responsible for the application of the appropriate internal controls within the plant;
Recognized accounting designation (C.A., C.G.A., or C.M.A.);
Related bachelor’s degree;
2-3 years’ experience in a related position.
