GENERAL FUNCTION
Lead team to drive Talent Acquisition and full lifecycle recruiting of Licensed positions including Doctors of Optometry (OD) and Licensed Opticians across retail optical brands to increase access to care within a dedicated geographic region / specialty area.
MAJOR DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
Lead, manage & develop direct reports; conduct annual performance reviews & mid-year meaningful conversations
Recruit for geographic area and / or specialty area for ODs & Licensed Opticians
Own & drive recruiting process including sourcing, recruiting, screening, interviewing, through completion of offer and / or signed lease.
For OD sublease model, responsible for driving lease negotiation through completion in collaboration with brand field partner
Develop & maintain strong relationships with brand partners to effectively foster the recruiting relationship
Plan, lead, & implement initiatives to attract candidates using all tools & resources available; including but not limited to creating sourcing pools & leveraging first & third party databases, recruiting marketing platforms & job postings.
Build referral relationships with area industry, regional & opticianry and optometry school partners
Partner with EyeCare recruiting marketing to support marketing of roles
Develop & present strategic recommendation and creative solutions to brand partners on how to approach recruiting challenges
Ensuresaccurate applicant data & statuses in recruiting systems & produce reports of activity & accomplishments for data trending;
leverage data to make impactful resourcing decisions
Subject matter expert for internal, market, & competitor landscape and & trends. Use information to make recommendations & inform organization
Collaborate with brand partners to deliver a comprehensive, compelling offer including the brand’s total rewards & value proposition
Demonstrate in-depth awareness of employment laws & industry regulations by state / province
Maintain expert knowledge of recruiting programs & trends
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
7 + years of recruiting experience in corporate staffing or search firm
5 + years of recruiting experience with at least 2 years recruitment of ODs and / or Licensed Opticians
Proven strong leadership experience
Demonstrated ability to effectively lead a team & create a collaborative atmosphere
Experience with recruitment operations including applicant tracking systems, automated reporting
Experience analyzing data & metrics to implement change
Excellent communication skills (written, verbal, listening & presentation)
Excellent negotiation, persuasion, organization, time management & prioritization skills
Demonstrated ability to develop collaborative relationships with senior executives & influence others to adopt & participate in strategic change initiatives
Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced, high pressure and dynamic environment
Ability to work independently & cross-functionally
Comprehensive knowledge of Microsoft Office
Up to 30% travel is anticipated
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
Licensed Recruiting experience for ODs and / or Licensed Opticians
Leadership of a recruiting team in a clinical setting
Experience leading & managing a geographically dispersed team(s)
