Project Manager Business Projects Job Details
The Project Manager Business Projects will be responsible for the execution of intermediate to complex projects working in partnership with the Business and Enterprise Services (IT) to deliver a fully integrated business / IT initiative.
Project Manager Business Projects Responsibilities
Manage all phases of the project from initiation to planning, executing, and closing while leveraging Project Management methodology, best practice standards, and processes for both Agile and Waterfall.
Manage stakeholders to ensure project delivery expectations are clearly identified, articulated, and met to effectively ensure buy in and project success.
Drive project execution and ensure project deliverables meet and or exceed project sponsor expectations.
Effectively manage project processes and communications including meetings, status updates, risk / issue identification, and resolution.
Develop project plans that effectively align scope, time, cost, quality, resources, risk, communication, and procurement.
Develop and implement effective project reporting dashboard and metrics.
Effectively motivate and manage a project team in a star up like environment with changing priorities.
Project Manager Business Projects Must Have Skills
5+ years of intermediate / senior level experience leading and managing large, complex business projects.
Proven experience leading and managing medium to large, complex projects with IT teams and / or managing digital projects.
Strong knowledge and experience of Project Management practices, tools, and methodologies including Agile and Waterfall.
Excellent problem solving and decision-making skills.
Results-oriented with excellent organizational skills and the ability to prioritize across a wide range of tasks.
Excellent communication and presentation skills with demonstrated efficiency in facilitating a wide range of stakeholder groups.
Strong relationship management skills with demonstrated ability to influence others successfully.
Demonstrated ability to work with MS Office tools including MS Project to develop project management artifacts.
High tolerance for change and ambiguity.
Scrum Master and PMP certification.
University degree or equivalent.
Experience working in the financial insurance services sector.
