Are you a seasoned CEO with a proven track record of exceeding targets and improving the bottom line of the organization?

This exciting position works directly with the Indigenous community and requires our successful candidate to be familiar with the Indian Act, Treaties and Treaty rights applicable to a First Nation.

Working in beautiful southern Ontario, our client’s successful CEO will directly report to their board of directors, working to build relationships through positive communications with the organization’s key stakeholders, community members, and staff.

This role requires an individual with a diverse skill set in business marketing, government relations, corporate finance, performance management, and community relations to succeed in the position.

If you’re someone with an entrepreneurial mindset, has excellent communication skills, and a solid understanding of financials and accounting reporting requirements, then this position might be your next dream job!


  • Is an experienced CEO with a proven track record of success.
  • Holds a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or a related field.
  • Is practiced in developing profitable strategies and implementing a corporate vision.
  • Has excellent interpersonal and management skills, including demonstrated ability to lead and motivate staff.
  • Is knowledgeable and experienced in marketing, government relations, and community relations.
  • Has previous experience in creating business plans, reviewing and interpreting financial data, creating budgets and forecasting cashflow for an organization.
  • Is a natural networker with excellent communication skills.
  • Is familiar with the Indian Act, Treaties and Treaty rights applicable to a First Nation.
  • Knows and understands Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook software programs.
  • Holds a valid driver’s license, has access to a reliable vehicle, and has a clean driver’s abstract.
  • Should ideally have experience working in or with the Indigenous community. We’d love to hear about any of this experience in your cover letter, as this is considered an asset for the role.
  • Are legally able to work in Canada and pass both a Criminal Record Check and Vulnerability Sector check.
  • This position offers a competitive BASE SALARY between $110,000 130,000 per year and includes a benefits package. Please include your resume AND cover letter when applying for the position.
