  • The Role

    Reporting to the Sales Manager, this role will involve engaging with our customers via live chat and other traditional means, assisting with general customer service, and processing on-line sales orders.

    All tasks will be completed with the goal of providing the highest possible level of sales and customer service. This role will have the potential to encompass a blend of on-site work, and work from home capabilities for the right person once the training period is complete.

    What you will be doing

  • Support ownership and all other departments to improve customer satisfaction, increase sales, and reduce costs
  • Engage and assist customers through on-line chat
  • Assist customers to identify appliances that meet consumer needs and sell through the live chat website
  • Process and manage orders for customers who buy online, providing the same high-quality experience our in-store shoppers receive
  • Build rapport and good will with online customers to support in-store sales staff
  • Maintain a high standard of product knowledge
  • Support sales events
  • To be successful in this role, you ideally

  • Have a High School Diploma or Equivalent
  • Superior communication skills (both verbal and written)
  • Are customer focused : Enjoys solving customer problems
  • Computer literacy / typing ability (60 wpm)
  • Strong organizational and administrative skills
  • Sales and customer service experience preferred but not required
  • Continuous product & process training in fast-paced environment
  • Previous online sales / chat or appliance experience an asset
