Job Skills / Requirements

Working with Paladin Security Group, you will use your strong customer service skills, attention to detail and effective communication to assist with the operational needs of our company.

As a Scheduling an Communications Operator in our Alberta Operations Center, you will be responsible for communicating and escalating situations as they are reported to you from across the Prairie Region, and assist with the scheduling and deployment of officers.

Applicants must be able to work up to twelve hour shifts, have clear verbal communication skills and professional written communication, and have strong computer skills.

Experience in dispatch or telecommunications are an asset but not required.

Duties Include :

  • Receive and record all incoming telephone calls from employees, managers, clients or the public; respond to callers and / or escalate the situation as warranted to proper distribution group(s) to be actioned;
  • provide any required information or directions to callers

  • Receive incoming calls by two-way radio or phone from employees for the purpose of booking on / off from shift; taking incoming requests for assistance and escalate as required;
  • complete hourly check calls in compliance with our company Work Alone procedures

    Receive and dispatch incoming alarm calls to the Mobile Department both verbally and by email communication

    Review Open Shift Reports; provide scheduling functions including calling and scheduling officers into open shifts; communicate scheduling needs with managers

    May be required to perform other duties as assigned

    Requirements :

    Strong written and verbal communication skills

    Strong administrative and computer skills

    Ability to problem solve, prioritize work, and multitask

    Ability to coordinate and function in high-energy and stressful environment

    Capable of performing duties under minimal supervision

    Ability to work as part of a team

    A high school Diploma

    Security and dispatching experience an asset but not necessary less

    Education Requirements (Any)

    High School Diploma / GED
