As a Health Care Aide, you will :
Possess a valid Class 5 Driver's License and reliable vehicle
Be able to work flexible hours
Provide personal assistance and support services for patients with injuries requiring short-term assistance and / or long-term support
Contribute to success of in-home rehabilitation plans
Report on observations, report on progress and communicate concerns to nurses and other licensed health care professionals to achieve optimal patient outcomes related to quality of life, function, health status and satisfaction
Be involved with Occupational Therapy, Physiotherapy, Kinesiology, Social Work, Psychology, Dietitians, and others on the primary health care team
Participate in training and orientation
Attend meetings as required
