JOB PURPOSE AND IMPACT
The Marketing Manager will be responsible for implementing our globalmarketing vision, establishing our national marketing strategy and executingour local marketing plans and campaigns.
This role is focused on creatingdemand and maximizing sales and profitability in the area of crop inputs in acoordinated effort with Cargill’s broader grain and risk management offering.
Translatebusiness goals into specific marketing objectives and strategies
In collaboration with the sales leaders, product linemanagers, and agronomy leaders, support demand creation with data analysis andlead generation tactics.
Build and implement a variety of targeted marketingcampaigns that enable our retail goals and deliver value to our customers andparticipate in the development of the business e-commerce and digital strategy
Demonstrating its deep knowledge of customerpriorities, this role will help identify areas where additional customerprofitability and brand growth can be achieved
Supervise marketing strategy performance and metricsand serve as the feedback loop from sales and customers to resolve efficiencyof initiatives, including promotional efficacy to improve return on investment
Work with the internal Marketing Communications teamat Cargill to execute communications on all farmer-focused channels to reachtargeted customers and prospects
Independently handle complex issues with minimalsupervision, while escalating only the most complex issues to appropriatestaff.
Otherduties as assigned
Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Sales, orBusiness related or equivalent experience
Minimum of four years of related work experience
Ability to balance multiple priorities anddeliver timely projects within budge guidelines
Experience developing strategic marketing plansthat generated customer growth
Experience engaging directly with customers witha positive impact
Experience executing consumer, channel and / orcustomer specific campaigns and promotions
Build partnerships and collaborate with othersto meet shared objectives
Plan and prioritize work to meet commitmentsaligned with organizational goals
Develop and deliver multimode communicationsthat convey a clear understanding of the unique needs of different audiences
An understanding of the needs offarmers and their management practices is a valuable asset
