The TransX Group of Companies has an exciting opportunity for a Senior Managerial Accountant to join the team in our Winnipeg Office.
Reporting to the Controller, you will be responsible for performing day-to-day accounting and financial reporting. This includes production of monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements, analysis of variances, annual budgets, costing inventory systems, tax and business planning.
Of major importance, this position will work closely with the Controller, Operational Managers, and employees establishing sound financial structures and administration processes that will provide direction and assist the company to achieve its profit and growth objectives.
In addition, you will manage projects, initiatives and transformations by assisting with in-depth evaluations of the current accounting and financial reporting systems.
This position requires the chosen individual to work in a team environment, lead, coordinate project and supervise.
Shift : Monday to Friday; 8 : 00 a.m. - 4 : 30 p.m.
The successful candidate must be an experienced Accountant with well-developed organizational skills, planning skills, and who has demonstrated a consistent record of achievement and profitable growth for the company.
You will work closely with a diverse group of employees and all levels of the organization and will have the ability to coach as required.
In addition, you must be energetic, personable, have strong communication skills. You should possess the necessary sense of ownership in order to provide the company with the appropriate financial guidance.
