This is a high-exposure role within the Telus Consumer Mobility Marketing organization for a driven and passionate individual who is intellectually curious, analytical, and impact-driven.

The successful candidate will be accountable for identifying revenue opportunities by having a detailed understanding of performance relative to targets and working with marketing partners to recommend and drive action through any or all of the 4 P's.

Here's how

  • Own the end-to-end forecasting (triage) process for Telus Consumer Mobility Ensure the various elements of the forecast (subscribers, revenue and ARPU) are fully integrated and deliver a cohesive story to senior leadership marrying targets to strategy and market dynamics Work with Marketing, Planning and Finance primes to align on submissions
  • Work with our Subscriber & Revenue Planning primes to understand performance relative to targets and perform analyses to uncover opportunities to meet or exceed short and long-term targets
  • Become a trusted partner to Marketing & Business primes : work collaboratively with partners to align upon identified opportunities and take action via one of the 4 P's
  • Present subscriber, revenue and ebitda opportunities to senior leadership and gain alignment by putting forth thoughtful, compelling, data supported recommendations
  • Lead the budget and strategic planning process for TELUS Mobility : work with our marketing and planning partners on identifying key programs and market dynamics that should be considered in our 1 to 3 year subscriber and revenue forecasts
  • Track monthly OPEX performance : identify gaps to targets and work with the business to identify and drive savings opportunities
  • Qualifications

    You're the missing piece of the puzzle

  • 2-5 years financial / strategic planning and performance analysis experience
  • Innovative thinker that’s passionate about solving business problems
  • Strong quantitative analysis skills and business acumen with a track record of proactively deriving strategic insights and thoughtful recommendations that contemplate financial, operational and customer considerations
  • Excellent communications skills including experience developing and delivering presentations to senior leaders
  • Master at taking vast amounts of complex data and distilling it into simple views that tell a crystal clear story; obsesses over coming up with the optimal graph or table that brings the numbers to life for the audience and ultimately facilitates rich strategic discussions
  • Proficient in Excel and experience building complex models
  • Very comfortable with ambiguity and balancing multiple priorities / needs
  • Ability to work under pressure and deliver high quality work in a fast-paced environment

  • Intermediate SAS and / or SQL skills
