What is the opportunity?
In this role, will look to seek guidance, support and direction from both the Director of Client Experience Labs and the Agile Engineering Director (the Canadian Lab Leadership Team) collectively and individually.
Your role will be a multi-faceted one, acting as a key coordinator of Strategic and Tactical, planning and execution of initiatives, between Technology and the Business.
In addition, you will have key inputs throughout the development lifecycle of a prioritized Client Facing or Efficiency initiative.
PaCE Labs focus on delivering RBC Investor & Treasury Services (I&TS) client requirements through development of innovative apps and processes, to improve their overall experience, enhance operational efficiency and reduce business risk.

What will you do?
Participate in Initiative Intake and Discovery sessions to flesh out Value-Add Proposition and Minimum Viable Product, as well as build and maintain cross-sectional knowledge on tools, processes, initiatives, software currency and challenges across the lab as the Lab Domain Expert
Identify and understand gaps in processes and knowledge between stakeholders (operations, coverage, solutions design etc.
and the lab, in association with Program Managers / Scrum Masters
Seek clarity in plans, issues and dependencies or escalates as appropriate and provides data analysis, SME opinion, and technical insight into Lab Leadership team, for executive and internal presentations
Efficiently coordinate teams’ efforts within an Agile Sprint and promote lean and contextual based methods for execution which has maximum client impact and is quick-to-market, whilst maintaining adherence to best practices.
Represent the business on Priority Incident Review forums, and work with Technology and other partners to review Impact and Remediation
Chair Client Impact Summary (CIS) meetings post Priority Incident Reviews, and provide findings to Lab Leadership team
Provide a holistic (technology and business) 360 view of existing embedded processes, and bring in SMEs from both the business or the lab, to supplement working group as required
Manage and keep up-to-date client and internal SLAs, continuously assessing impact to (1) lab processes and deliveries as the SLAs change, (2) SLAs, as new Lab processes and solutions are released into the production
Create, review, and report Client usage based statistics monitor usage trends, types of usage by client, segment usage analysis, adoption rates on new initiatives and legacy processes etc.
What do you need to succeed?
Undergraduate Degree or equivalent in Technology or Finance
Experience in the Custody Banking industry and / or good understanding of financial markets, fund accounting, investment services, and other custodial functions
Highly organized with sense of urgency with excellent planning and organization skills.
Service partner oriented and solution focused
Ability to understand management ideas / needs and convert into something real, transforming theory into reality
Ability to assimilate large amounts of information and get to the core of the issue quickly
Ability to engage and influence within teams
Strong Facilitation skills
Excellent Excel and Powerpoint skills
