Weldco-Beales Manufacturing designs and manufactures specialized heavy equipment attachments for the construction, forestry, mining scrap recycling, road maintenance and resource industries throughout Canada, the USA and internationally.

The position will report to the General Manager.

What you will do :

  • Promote, practice and ensure safety in the workplace at all times
  • Provide quality customer service to internal and external clients
  • Manage shop personnel by providing continuous feedback and conducting formal performance evaluations; recommending salary adjustments, transfers, promotions, etc.
  • addressing human resources; supervising staff and monitoring productivity; scheduling and assigning projects

  • Foster an environment of active participation and staff involvement that maximizes the talent of of available staff
  • Communicate to appropriate departments any production concerns
  • Establish methods to meet work schedules and coordinate work activities with other departments
  • Promote continuous improvement of products and streamline procedures without endangering safety or compromising quality.
  • Your Qualifications :

  • Minimum of 10 years of related experience in a manufacturing setting
  • Minimum of 2 years supervisory experience
  • Supervisory training.

  • Interpersonal skills to work collaboratively and cooperatively with others

  • Communication skills to deliver information and feedback effectively.
