Overview Our client is a dynamic wealth / portfolio management firm that supports many high net worth clients in an IIROC environment.
Client service is the number one priority in this role in addition to financial planning and client facing responsibilities.
The successful candidate will support two Portfolio Managers as they service a large and diverse portfolio. Responsibilities
To act as a resource for the client base concerning policies and procedures of the firm;
Review client files and help determine agenda for proactive contact with client base
Answer phone calls and offer exemplary service to the clients;
Meeting with clients to discuss their financial planning needs and risk tolerance
Assist in researching new products and services;
Take and enter orders for clients
Accurately document all client interactions for appropriate follow up and compliance records.
To maintain up to date knowledge on financial markets;
Other related duties as required.
3+ years experience in a similar role at an Independent Financial Services firm or Multi Line Financial Brokerage; Experience with face to face client contact a definite asset
Completion of both the Canadian Securities Course (C.S.C.) and the Canadian Practice Handbook (C.P.H.) and licensed or immediately licensable with I.
I.R.O.C. as a Registered Representative;
Excellent organizational and communication skills;
Strong knowledge of MS Applications : Word, Excel, Outlook.
Flexible, adaptable and must be able to work under pressure;
Ability to multi-task and show initiative;
Ability to offer fast and efficient service to clientele.
