About the role

Reporting to the Manager, Software Development, the IT Business Analyst analyzes business processes, designs or modifies procedures to improve efficiency and achieve expected results.

Analyzes the needs of the business and those of the users and documents the business processes to serve as a basis for system specifications.

Facilitates interaction between the user community and various IT departments based on the steps identified in Intact’s System Development Life Cycle (SDLC).

Demonstrates knowledge of the business analysis area of practice. Works with the Agile methodology.

Responsibilities :

Act as an intermediary between IT and users at various levels (of management) across the organization.

Qualifications

The chosen candidate has at least 5 years of experience as an IT business analyst / IT Functional Analyst in agile development mode.

Has keen analytical skills and the ability to see the big picture in complex situations. With very good communication skills, he or she will interact with other team members to expose the various business rules.

The candidate must demonstrate contagious leadership, be able to learn fast, adapt to changes and be a good team player.
