Baker Tilly Victoria is currently looking for an experienced, motivated and client-driven individual to join our growing team as CPA Manager.

We are seeking a candidate to assist us in providing service excellence, ensuring all aspects of our clients’ accounting needs are met with professionalism and expertise.

Your primary responsibilities will include :

  • Work as a crucial link between partners and junior staff
  • Preparation and review of Notice to Reader, Review, and Audit Engagements
  • Preparation and review of T2 (corporate), T1 (personal), T3 (trust) tax returns as well as T4 / T5 summaries and slips
  • Preparation of corporate and personal US tax returns
  • Perform technical research, developing and documenting recommendations
  • Research various issues and prepare memoranda
  • Identify client service opportunities
  • Participate in special engagements
  • Delegation of work / ensure files are progressing
  • Enhance and develop community relationships and networks
  • Manage staff, providing daily guidance and coaching, developing their knowledge
  • Supporting and mentoring firm staff
  • Preparing and presenting technical sessions for staff
  • A successful candidate will have :

  • CPA Designation
  • At least 5 years of experience in a progressive public accounting firm
  • The ability to provide value-added service to our clients
  • Sound technical knowledge in accounting, tax and audit
  • Strong understanding of a client-focused environment, including related deadlines and the ability to work to meet those deadlines
  • Self-motivation and a strong work ethic with an ability to work both independently and as part of a team
  • Sound judgment regarding confidential and sensitive matters
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication and organizational skills
  • Attention to detail and accuracy
