MISSION AND OBJECTIVES
The Transformation team actively supports the strategic initiatives across CIB activities and functions in various capacities including high level governance oversight, advisory to project or program managers and hands on project management for transversal strategic projects.
Within this team, the Canada Transformation team is a transversal team which actively manages the portfolio of Transformation projects impacting Canada (Near / Offshoring, End-to-End / Process RE-engineering, Digital transformation).
Manage Transformation Projects covering the following activities :
Process assessment of identified areas within the bank, including identification of scope, roadmap, business case and risk assessment
Work closely with sponsors, functions and all impacted teams to define best strategies and challenge them in terms of operating model, methodology, governance and planning
Organize and prepare Project and Steering Committees, including documentation and preparation of meetings
Produce project reports; request, collect, analyze, query, verify consistency and completeness and integrate weekly status reports from project work streams
Monitor projects deliverables, timeline, risks and dependencies with project managers to ensure the completeness and adequacy of deliverables
Monitor and report changes vs. initial target, analyze variances, report on actual vs. budget using available project management tools (HC & Financials tracking)
Keep updated action and issue logs, contact list, project distribution list and other registers
Ensure the end-to-end reporting of the process transformed leveraging on appropriate dashboard of activity and KPIs
Contribute to the execution of the CIB Americas digital strategy within the mandate of efficiency projects or process re-engineering under responsibility :
Through the identification of solutions to bridge gaps in system functionality aiming to reduce time and risk associated with manual manipulation (etc.
macros, data aggregation platforms, workflow tools, minor IT development)
Either directly implementing the solution or partnering with the Digital Lead or coaching operational teams to enable them to carry out the execution
Contribute to the team reporting and monitoring
TRAINING AND OCCUPATIONAL EXPERIENCE
BA or MS in engineering, finance, business or related discipline coupled with excellent academic credentials
At least 3 years’ experience minimum as process reengineering or transformation project managerfor a company with a global footprint in a multicultural environment
Green belt certification will be a plus
Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
Advanced technical skills particularly working with spreadsheets and databases
Comfort working with workflow and data analysis tools (Power BI, Alteryx, ThinkCell)

Capacity to present results convincingly at middle and senior management level
Write sharp and straight-to-the-point executive summaries, emails
