We’re seeking a Senior Advisor, HR People Analytics to support the objectives of the Human Resources function and business sectors by creating analytical reports using HR data and metrics to identify important trends.

The incumbent will partner closely with business, HR Leaders and HR Technology, and other functions to offer actionable analysis and reporting, and to develop predictive analytics that will compel specific business decisions.

  • Provide strategic support to the Human Resource function in the areas of people metrics, reporting, and advanced predictive analytic capabilities
  • Design and implement dashboards that present data in a meaningful and actionable framework for PSP and HR leadership
  • Interpret employee data to identify significant differences, relationships and trends in data
  • Create thought provoking and professional reports and models using Excel, PowerPoint, or other analytics solutions as appropriate
  • Transform large amounts of data into compelling visual stories to facilitate analysis and business decision-making using data visualization tools
  • Collaborate with subject matter experts across HR to promote data governance and stewardship, and to improve overall strategic and operational performance and insight
  • Serve as an internal resource to ensure organization leaders are knowledgeable regarding the use of workforce data and analytics self-service tools
  • Serve as the domain expert for human resources data and analytics
  • Promote data consistency, accuracy, and completeness with articulated data standards.
  • Ensure confidentiality of data by following established security / confidentiality standards
  • Develop and maintain appropriate benchmarks with other organizations. Interact with professional / community groups related to analytics and business intelligence and maintain strong internal and external network of peers
  • WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR

  • A proven analyst with communication skills
  • An individual who can play a vital, hands-on role in developing the people analytics approach, data management and governance practices, tools and technology evolution, and leveraging best practices in the industry
  • WHAT YOU’LL NEED

  • Bachelor’s degree in mathematics, administration, commerce or any other relevant degree
  • A relevant Master’s degree is an asset
  • Deep technical hands-on expertise in data analytics, data visualization and business intelligence
  • Extensive proficiency in creating advanced reports for senior levels of an organization
  • Strong business acumen, intellectual curiosity, creativity and a proven work ethic
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Strong ability to translate data trends into relevant considerations for key stakeholders
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills; high proficiency levels in both English and French
  • Knowledge of activities that take place within an HR function and how they intersect
  • A minimum of 3 years of developing reports and dashboards by using data available through an HRIS is highly preferred (Workday preferred)
  • Microsoft Excel skills to include advanced knowledge of all facets of the application
  • Ability to interact professionally with employees at all levels of the organization and deliver information to leaders and managers
