A change management advisor will play a key role in ensuring projects (change initiatives) meet objectives on time and on budget by increasing employee adoption and buy-in.

This person will focus on the people side of change, addressing the impact of changes to culture, business processes, systems and technology, job roles and organizational structures.

The primary responsibility will be creating and implementing change management strategies and plans, working with the project sponsors and change champions to improve project outcomes.

Responsibilities

What you’ll get to do as a Change Management Advisor at Colliers Project Leaders :

  • Develop and implement change management strategies, plans, frameworks
  • Develop initiatives that improve organizational effectiveness through people-centered change and result in adoption of changes, an improved work environment, greater involvement of stakeholders and a more responsive workforce
  • Carry out an impact assessment and change readiness assessment in order to plan the change management strategy
  • Coach managers and sponsors on their role in effective change management
  • Assist in developing creative solutions to clients’ challenges
  • Identify and develop change management tools
  • Provide expertise, consultative advice, guidance and coaching to build client capacity to make effective use of change management strategies and related tools
  • Work with the Project Team to understand the people side of change and how change management strategies can be integrated into the project plans
  • Evaluate the effectiveness of the change management initiatives and recommend other mitigating actions
  • Develop performance measurement / evaluation frameworks
  • Qualifications

    What you’ll need to be successful :

  • A university degree or diploma in Business Administration, Human Resources, Project Management, Communications, Organizational Behaviour or a related discipline
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience as a change management advisor or a related position involving stakeholder management, community engagement, strategy and transformation
  • Previous exposure to working as a consultant or working in a project management environment.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication and presentation skills
  • Excellent facilitation skills
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently but also as part of a project team
  • Self-motivation, initiative, proactive working style
  • A results-oriented approach, demonstrated ability to think strategically and solve problems
  • Exceptional organizational skills and the ability to prioritize competing tasks to meet tight deadlines
  • PROSCI change management designation or other related change management designation would be an asset
  • Lean training would be an asset
