The software program manager assumes the end to end ownership of overall software solution for AMD new Graphics and APU products, with the objective of delivery the entire software stack to market within the established bounding box (timelines, budget, scope and pre-

defined performance / quality).

The Individual will play a crucial leadership role within Radeon Technology Group (RTG) software organization and will also interact with the functional and program management leadership from platform engineering, production validation, product management and other teams within and / or outside RTG organization to ensure proper alignment and overall coordination in program execution.

The individual will also represent RTG software to communicate at all required leadership forums.

Individual should have solid knowledge of Window operating system architecture and direct development experience (device driver development experience is preferable).

Working experience in graphics and / or CPU products is desired.

Key Skills / qualification :

  • Minimum 5 years proven large and complex Project & Program Management experience in dynamic and competitive industry
  • Minimum 5 Software / Platform development experience with exposure to Device Drivers, Firmware, CPU, GPU, and / or embedded product development
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Horizontal leadership / Matrix management experience
  • Flexible working schedule to manage global (specific Asia and North America) program execution team
  • Computer Engineering, Computer Science or Electrical Engineering Bachelor Degree
  • PMP certification is required
  • Agile development or Certification is a bonus
