Works with global partners including the business lines, digital banking, IT, operations and support corporate function teams to deploy Auto finance and transactional banking solutions for ICCB.
Identifies and prioritizes opportunities to deliver effective planning, execution and communication for our technology roadmap and ensure it aligns to the overall ICCB strategic vision.
Identify, develop, and execute strategic plans that contribute to the sustainable growth, profitability and overall success of the ICCB business deposit & cash management portfolio
Development, Management and Execution of Business Deposit & Cash Management Product Plans
Portfolio Optimization / Process Improvement and Re-engineering
Influence International Corporate Commercial Banking efforts to achieve their business objectives by leading the execution of various business deposit related initiatives and projects.
Support the delivery of high standards of customer service, support and satisfaction related to business deposit products.
Provide effective support and assistance in developing training programs for business development, product knowledge, and policy and procedures.
Provide expert advice and develop recommendations relative to all aspects of business deposits during M&A and due diligence processes.
New Business Development. Identification of new opportunities on dealership partnerships, negotiation and completion of RFP process.
Work closely with our partners in Canadian Banking Automotive Finance in order to leverage best practices and capture new business opportunities.
Country results / performance monitoring and support (Risk, pricing) on product and strategy alignment
Work closely with other areas within International Banking (e.g. Risk, Operations, Systems, Digital Factory, etc.) ensure strategic alignment and partnering in order to meet business objectives.
Automotive Finance Product design i.e. GFV (Guaranteed Future Value, Small Business finance, Dealer Inventory Finance).
Provide overall leadership in the execution of a portfolio of projects by leading teams in making appropriate commitments through scope selection, deliverable prioritization while dealing with multiple deadlines, backlogs and
resolution of issues
Facilitate appropriate communication methods and tracking tools to ensure identification and management of risks, mitigation strategies, plan activities, dependencies, impacts, escalation channels, financial budget and detailed
Oversee and consolidate overall project status reporting to executive management
Partner with business leaders, team members and other key stakeholders across International Banking and
the Bank to plan, develop and manage key operational, technical and strategic business projects
Conduct project post-implementation review and ensure learning incorporated into future projects for continuous improvement
Education / experience
Detailed understanding of the products / services he / she holds accountability.
Thorough knowledge of the Bank’s application systems and their relationships within the Bank.
Thorough knowledge of outside market and competitive products.
Excellent communication / interpersonal / negotiating skills.
Degree / post graduate degree preferably in business.
Several years of management experience and relevant experience.
Strong leadership skills to motivate and guide a diverse group working in this complex and challenging area.
The position requires a good knowledge of the Bank’s credit and operational risk policies and procedures
