Due to expansion, Securiguard is accepting resumes for the position of Security Supervisor, for a High Profile Corporate site in Downtown Toronto.

Pay rate : $20 / hour

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • Valid Ontario Security Guard License.
  • Minimum of 1 year Security Supervisory experience in a fast-paced professional corporate office building environment
  • Minimum of 2 years Security Guard Experience
  • Must have strong English communication skills both written and verbal
  • Must be reliable, available, of sound character and be able to work in a team environment or independently
  • Must be physically fit and able to stand, sit or walk for extended periods
  • Ability to handle multiple situations and use sound judgment to handle emergency situations
  • Must be knowledgeable on various systems including but not limited to CCTV various types, elevators, mechanical alarms, intercom systems, fire and life safety systems, control room systems
  • Must be able to provide coaching, training, and update site Manager on new trainees progress
  • Act as a Liaison between our client and Securiguard
  • Will be required to keep track of staff training records, expiry dates and book for training when required
  • Ensure the facility's Safety and Emergency procedures are followed in response to fire alarms and other site emergencies
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle stressful situations
  • Ability to write and compile reports on computer software in a timely manner
  • Available to work overtime hours as required
  • Knowledge and Application of Section 494(c) of the Canadian Criminal Code : Trespass to Property Act, and other related legislation
  • Valid Use of Force considered an asset
