We are looking for a Data Analytics Lead to help our Product and Mission based teams make better business decisions using data.
You will collaborate with Data Engineering and Data Science to define & build data capabilities. Using the insights derived from the data you will define and answer business questions in order to formulate actions to drive the business forward.
Work closely with the Product team to understand their analytical needs, including identifying critical metrics and KPIs, and deliver actionable insights to relevant decision-makers
Interpret data and analyze results using statistical techniques to find conclusions
Transform data into readable, goal-driven business reports for continued innovation and growth
Build tools and dashboard to improve data visibility
Identify trends and opportunities for growth through analysis of complex data sets and create models that depict these trends in the customer base and the consumer population as a whole
Conduct impact analysis to evaluate potential impact, test setup and execution
Work with Product Managers to communicate the impact of what we launched
Develop and implement databases, data collection systems, data analytics and other strategies that optimize statistical efficiency and quality
5+ years of experience in a Data / Business Analyst position
Bachelor’s Degree in Mathematics, Computer Science / Engineering, Statistics or related field
Knowledge of statistics and experience using statistical packages for analyzing datasets (Excel, SPSS, SAS etc)
Strong knowledge of and experience with BI tools (Tableau, Periscope, Domo, Amplitude, etc.), and databases (SQL, etc.)
Passionate about the consumer journey
Experience calculating and tracking product metrics (e.g. M / DAU, usage breadth / depth, engagement funnels, etc.)
Strong analytical skills with the ability to collect, organize, analyze, disseminate and visualize significant amounts of information with attention to detail and accuracy
Experience calculating and tracking key SaaS financial metrics a plus (e.g. Conversion, Churn, ARPU, etc.)
Skilled at precision questioning, ability to define and refine business questions to get to the root concern that can be specifically and concisely addressed
